St. Francis Feast Blessing of the Animals

Usually held in October around the day of St. Francis Feast who was the patron saint of animals.

All pets and stuffed furry friends are welcome to attend the outdoor service.

Mother’s Day Breakfast

Mother’s Day June 8th

Thank you to all the Men and Youth Group Volunteers who cooked and awesome breakfast for Mother’s Day. It was great to see so many who came in support of their mother.

Church Picnic

Held in September

Usually held in September the Church Picnic is a great way to celebrate the kickoff of the new Sunday School Year and end of the Summer. Fellowship is rampant in this fun filled day at Charles Escher Park in Stony Point. Including great food, fun, and of course Irene Tatti’s Games and Tatt-alini Salad.

“HEARTS FOR A CURE” Benefit Concert

PERFORMANCE DATE: February 8, 2020

“Hearts 4 A Cure” was a Valentine Celebration featuring an abundance of LOVE songs to raise money for a good cause. All proceeds went to the MS Society and Stand Up 2 Cancer.

“CAROL FOR CURES” Benefit Concert

PERFORMANCE DATE: December 15, 2018

“Carol for Cures” was a benefit held with a Holiday Theme featuring an abundance of Carols and Christmas songs to raise money for a good cause. All proceeds went to the MS Society and Stand Up 2 Cancer.

“THE HUDSONEERS” Concert & Silent Auction

PERFORMANCE DATE: USUALLY IN NOVEMBER

The evening consist of a performance by the musical group The Hudsoneers followed by a wine and cheese party and silent auction. The festivities begin at 7pm with the doors opening at 6:30pm. Running for over 7 years the annual auction is an enjoyable evening not to mention, you can go home with a great basket!

Come join us for great German food and oompa fulls of fun!

Oktoberfest is held every year as a fundraiser in the month of October. Proceeds go to the Youth Group Scholarship fund as well as to the church. ALL Home made dishes are prepared for your enjoyment and pleasure. Make your reservation for one of two seatings! You won’t get in withour them. (Take out is always available)

“MARIST COLLEGE BRASS ENSEMBLE”

The Marist College Brass Ensemble usually performs during the Sunday service twice a year in Spring and Fall. The young musicians play during the service as well as Prelude and Postlude selections led by Rev. Martin Tyce as their conductor.

20th Anniversary Concert to benefit the Vietnam Veterans

PERFORMANCE DATE: April 28, 2017 AT 7:30PM

Atonement hosted the 20th Anniversary Concert and enjoy the musical talents of trombonists Doug Remine, Nate Rensink, Sam Shackleton and Pastor Marty Tyce. Clothing &/or shoe donations were collected to benefit the Vietnam Veterans Association.

The James I. O’Neill High School select choir performed a special concert for Atonement “Lessons and Carols”.

“500th ANNIVERSARY OF REFORMATION”

DATE: October 31, 2017 AT West Point

In 2017, the Lutheran Church celebrated the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation. A special service was held at the West Point Chapel bringing together many congregations of the LCMS from different areas of NY State. The Atonement Choir got to participate as many members attended the wonderful service in celebration of Martin Luther and his 95 Thesis.
